About Me

Clinically:

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) for residents of North Carolina. I have three years of experience as a therapist with a background in private practice, university counseling centers, crisis centers/shelters, and intensive outpatient centers. I specialize in working with women and other healers/therapists navigating trauma & (c)ptsd, women's issues, and spirituality concerns. I integrate solution focused, empowerment based, trauma focused, and womanist clinical frameworks and treatment modalities. Additionally, I am trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS),  polyvagal theory, and somatic healing modalities. 

Professionally:

I have 10+ years of experience in the social services and mental health fields. Additionally, I am an Ordained Minister and multi-award winning Reiki Master Teacher with ample experience in spiritual leadership and coaching. Therefore, I am confident and comfortable integrating Christian, Afro-Diasporic (ATRs), and Indigenous spiritual frameworks into sessions per your request. 

Personally:

I am a plant based foodie who enjoys maintaining a holistically healthy lifestyle, hiking, rom-coms, vegan desserts, laughing, and spending time with people I love.
